WEDDING AND CELEBRATION CAKE ORDERS
Upon booking your cake a 25% non-refundable deposit must be paid. The final balance is payable no later than 6 weeks prior to the date the cake is required. If there is 6 weeks or less before your cake is required payment must be made in full and it is non-refundable. We accept payment via bank transfer, PayPal, cash or cheque.
RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLING OR CHANGING YOUR ORDER
We understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. If you need to reschedule we will do our best to accommodate you if possible. However, please be aware that the option to rearrange is subject to availability and as such it may not be possible. Unfortunately, we cannot reschedule more than once.
If more than 6 weeks’ notice has been given the deposit remains non-refundable. However, if specialist items have been ordered or work has already commenced on your commission, additional charges may apply. In cases where less than 6 weeks’ notice is provided full payment will be required. All rescheduled orders are considered non-refundable once the new date has been agreed. Please note changes to your order may incur additional cost.
In the event a design is to be modelled on an existing cake image please note that we cannot guarantee an exact match as some materials and tolls which create those designs may no longer be available.
We offer a delivery and set-up service, although, this may be limited during peak season, thus prompt booking is highly recommended. Many of the cakes will not incur a delivery charge, however, in some cases the delivery service will be charged on an hourly basis which will be assessed by the estimated travel time and distance as well as the time and labour required to set up the cake on site at your venue. We will of course discuss any likely charges with you during the consultation process.
We are happy for you to collect your cake from us. Set up and storage of the cake will be explained. Please be aware that the Toffee Nosed Cake Company cannot accept responsibility for any damages once our client or their representative has signed for the cake. In the event that you damaged your cake we would of course be willing to repair the cake if possible. However, please note that this will be based not only on the extent of the damage but the availability of team members. Any charges will be explained and payment must be made prior to the repair work being undertaken.
